# Connect to a machine

> How to connect to a bare metal machine through SSH or VNC

## SSH onto a bare metal machine

To SSH onto a bare metal machine, you can use the "SSH" item from the options menu on the [bare metal machines list page](/docs/guides/machines/manage). Or you can use the quick buttons at the top right-hand side of the bare metal machine details page.
