# Create a volume

> Learn how to create a volume on CUDO Compute

Open **Volumes** in your project and click **Create volume**.

### Name

Provide a unique name (1-30 chars, lowercase letters, numbers, hyphens; start with a letter; no trailing hyphen).

### Size

Specify size in GiB. You can increase later but cannot decrease.

### Summary

Review estimated cost then click **Create volume** to provision.
